Plant Contract Operator

Description:

Baywater is hiring for the position of Plant Contract Operator for our operations in Bloomfield, NM.

Responsibilities Include:

Monitor and control the amine and glycol processing units to ensure optimal performance and compliance with environmental regulations.
Operate and maintain water treatment systems to ensure water quality meets required standards.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment and systems.
Respond to system or equipment emergencies, applying rapid problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and risks.
Record operational data and maintain logs for all shift activities, system performance, and maintenance work.
Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless plant operations.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
Proven experience in industrial operations, particularly in petrochemical, oil and gas, or related fields.
Familiarity with amine and glycol systems, water treatment processes and gas fired heaters is highly advantageous.
Strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of industry-standard safety protocols.
